I recently had the pleasure of working with Rose McHenry to edit her book, Trip Tales: From Family Camping to Life as a Ranger, which was just published. Not only was Rose a joy to work with, but her book is funny! She’s a really gifted storyteller who makes you feel like you’re right there with her witnessing the adventure.
Not all of my editing projects are fun reading, but this definitely was. I’m happy to recommend this book to anyone wanting to be entertained with humorous camping adventures or learn what it’s really like to be a park ranger. Rose’s love for family and nature really shines through her words in this delightful memoir. I think those who enjoyed my book, Confessions of a Middle-Aged Runaway, will be thoroughly entertained with Trip Tales. I loved this book!
