  1. Yay, more runaway songs! We need them right now, for sure. For me, a song doesn’t have to be about running away in order to take me away. I’m sure it’s like that for all music lovers; we can be totally transported by music. I saw this group in the city not to long ago, and they took me to a few places I’d never been before. Warning: this is in total contrast to anything sweet, cute or mellow. I recommend you turn your speakers up nice and loud – it’s a real experience. :o) Here’s Bambara: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLmTimLAIqI

    1. Nancy, thanks for posting the music link. It’s always good to get exposed to new music. I had never heard of this band before. In this time of social isolation, it’s nice that we can still share music, books, movies, and art online.

  2. Thanks for being so open and accepting about the music. The band I posted the link for expresses all my pent up anger, frustration, and angst – yet does it with what I think is amazing control. It sounds like chaos, but it’s very carefully orchestrated. And while it’s dark and edgy, I find it very invigorating. And yes, it’s really great we have ways of keeping in touch, sharing, and staying connected. These are very strange times indeed. Thank you for all your wonderful posts, Heidi!

    1. I think we’re all experiencing a lot of emotions right now, and they aren’t all rainbows and butterflies. It’s good you’ve found a positive way to deal with it.
