No, I didn’t get a haircut. (Isn’t that what women ask their husbands when they get a new hairstyle?) I added a new button to my website!
One of the great things about pursuing my dream of writing and publishing a book is that I’m always learning something new. Not long ago, I learned how to build a WordPress website–or I should say, I’m still learning. My latest addition to the website is a button on the header photo to sign up for my newsletter.
If you click on that gold button, you can enter your name and email, and I will add you to my mailing list to receive my newsletter. You don’t have to worry, I will never share your name or email address with anyone, so you don’t need to be concerned about receiving spam.
The first edition of my newsletter is coming soon, and will have information about interesting events and resources for writers and book lovers, as well as an update on the agent response to my book proposal. I hope you’ll sign up!
I clicked on the golden button, but nothing happened. Technology can be so difficult – both for the person applying it, and the person using it. I definitely want your newsletter. Keeping up with your writing is such a pleasure, and your blogs are such fun. Please make sure I’m on your list! :o)

Thanks for letting me know, Nancy. Others have been able to sign up for the newsletter, so I wonder if it’s an issue with certain devices or browsers. I will have to check into this. I will definitely add you to the mailing list!

I was able to sign up for the newsletter by going to the menu. Looking forward to seeing the first newsletter! 😊

Deb, thanks for signing up for the newsletter! You should have received a form window to enter your name and email address when you clicked on the button, so I will check into what might be happening for some people.

Your QA helper determined that the link on the main photo to the newsletter form does not link to anything on an iPad device. However, using the top menu list access results in the form displaying on the same iPad device. Check code in link on photo, maybe?
